Here's an anti-smoking slogan for you:
"Smokers are buttheads."
A butthead smoking in the presence of a non-smoker should be treated as an act of assault (be
charged and sent to jail), and parents who smoke in front of children should be charged with
child abuse. I'm not kidding.
I would also like to see immolation be legalized (dousing in flammable liquid and setting on
fire), but there's a danger that bystanders or the person throwing and lighting the fuel might
be injured, not just the smoker. |

What’s really funny is that even though The Onion is openly and purely only a farcical and
satirical publication quite a surprising number of there ‘stories’ have been picked up by the
news media before. Which is a sad statement on the state of journalism these days.
Just last month several newspapers picked up a story where Neil Armstrong was convinced by an utube
video that the moon landing was faked. |

The instant I saw the word "onion" in the link you provided I knew this post was based on farce.
The Onion is pure satire, they publish in books (I have one somewhere) and on the web. Some of
their stuff is pretty funny. But if the Onion says smoking is being linked by the government with
being gay then you can automatically conclude that's a made up story. No serious news is printed in
the Onion. |
