Might as well be true, even if it is not technically, because no one ever wins at love anyway. Accept that you're a loser and just please yourself. Everyone is too selfish to make any relationship work anyway. So just do whatever you want to. You might as well.

No one cares how or even IF you feel, so.....have it your own way.

The truth is not poetic, but at least it has the advantage of being real.

Correct me if I'm wrong...but are you saying that love is like a game of chess, using strategic moves to defeat the other person? Because I don't think love requires strategic moves...unless I'm incredibly mislead...

Besides, I don't fully understand that quote. Nothing in love or war is fair at all.
