This is so true in the UK, too, men kind of ''Lord,'' it over the female of the species when it comes to being smarter!....;-) Any ''Guy,'' who votes ''Against,'' must be ''GAY!'' I would, however, profess that women are generally a lot smarter than ''GAYS!''

Really? Than why are there so many women teachers, professors, doctors, scientists, authors, principals, engineers, need I go on? What do you do for a living that's so amazing and so great that a woman possibly couldn't?

Not quite my dear. Elizabeth was a woman whose intelligence was the stuff of legends. She took his advice on occasions, but she made her decisions on her own more often than not. Queen Elizabeth also possessed an infamous temper. She never let anyone feel they were superior to her and many of the men in her court feared her greatly. She was one of the greatest women in the history of the world and rightly so. She never let anyone dictate her life or her actions. I hope you are aware that she died unmarried and still a virgin. She rebuked almost every suitor that came to court her. It is said that she proved to be such a remarkable child that she recieved extended tuition when she was a child. She often rivaled and even surpassed the sons of British nobles when it came to the matter of intelligence. Bottomline: It is well known that Queen Elizabeth I could have had any man, lord or otherwise, put to death for acts of insubordination. Oh and by the way, you have no idea what my nickname stands for so don't use it against me, you stereotypical imbecile.

Are you entirely sure that it isn't yourself that has been misinformed? From what history books, diaries, and records that I've had the good fortune to examine, it was shown that Elizabeth's hymen was still intact when her body was examined by the royal coroner whilst being prepared for burial. If you have had any tuition in anatomy, you should know that once a hymen has been torn, it can't repair itself. My knowledge of English History is, in fact, quite presentable due to extensive studies and proper education. Had you paid attention during your "schoolboy days", you would have known that the rumor of Elizabeth having a child was exactly that, a rumor. More often than not, women tend to display tell-tale signs when they are expecting. As it were, don't you think that, had there been any truth to this tale, that Elizabeth's council and servants would have noticed? Moreover, I'm sure you're aware that secrets carried by the British Royals often did not stay a secret for too long due to the constant gossip that surrounded daily life in the Court. You can expect quite a deal more from my intelect than you could expect from your own.

My dear Cemetary if your education was as highly polished as you claim, you would surely know that during her reign Elizabeth had to retreat to the country for a spell, what has been logged in the chronicles of England as ''due to scarlet fever.'' Her retreat under the wise counsel of Lord Burleigh, (who once again Lorded it over her...;-), was to: ''Burleigh House,'' where in the secrecy of her own room, she gave birth to a child. The father of the child Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, was obviously another guy who had ''Lorded it over her,'' to coin a phrase!...;-) If you also take into consideration that Lord Burleigh orchestrated the biggest spy ring in the known world at that time, you would quite easily discern why the pregnancy was kept top-secret. It was only after this event Queen Elizabeth smashed all the mirrors in her palace, cut her locks, and took upon herself the mantle of a ''VIRGIN QUEEN!'' So you see my sweet friend on two occasions concerning your proposed ''QUEEN'' argument, you have been shot down in flames, by two ''LORDS,'' who ''LORDED'' it over your ''QUEEN.''  Thus substantiating my premise. Now I would say that was: ''CHECK MATE!''...;-)

Hardly. You must have libraries where you live correct? I have a suggestion for you, dear sir. Go to the library, find a few books on Queen Elizabeth I and sit down and read them extensively. You'll find that Lord Burleigh had established no such "spy ring". Furthermore, that man never lorded above Elizabeth, he merely gave advice to her from time to time. Elizabeth trusted him, and I highly doubt that he would risk that to create a spy ring which in turn would have lead to accusations and arrest on the grounds of conspiring against the Crown. Dudley and Elizabeth were the best of friends, they had been since they were children. Nothing more happened. I see you also failed to correctly answer another point I made. There were really no secrets kept when you were an English Royal due to the fact that gossip could warp an illness into a pregnancy. I trust you know that for quite some time Queen Mary had been thought to be with child, as many claimed and there were extravagant ceremonies planned for the time when her "babe" was to enter the world. However, Mary was found not to be pregnant at all, just swollen with fluid. If Elizabeth had truly been pregnant and it was to be kept top secret, Elizabeth would have recieved no visits and would have not attended any councils. As such, there would have been a period of extended absence documented somewhere due to the fact that her absence wouldn't have gone unchecked and unnoticed forever. Moreover, she shattered the mirrors, cut her hair, and took upon the mantle of a virgin queen due to the fact that the man she wanted was not available to her. I also assume that she was trying to prove a point. Now, these events preceeded her imprisonment in the Tower. Unless you are suggesting that her sister Mary or the guards would have permitted Elizabeth and Dudley to share a cell, there is no way possible that she could have become pregnant before declaring herself an eternal virgin. Elizabeth was lorded over by no one. Why else do you think all the men in her court and council were so afraid of her? Had they lorded over her, they would have no reason to fear for their lives every time they spoke with her. So my dear sir, it is in fact YOU who has been shot down twice in this argument pertaining Queen Elizabeth I. I have a firm basis of proof for my explanations. Common knowledge and library books. However, I've noticed that you have yet to explain where you've obtained your ludicrous notions of a "spy ring" and other such nonsense. Now I would say that it is I who can finally say "Check Mate."

I don't know. The two people who tell me constantly that they are the smartest ones in the world are Lord Lother and my wife. So far my wife has provided much more supporting evidence whereas Loserario has consistently shown a severe deficit in critical thinking abilities. So the results of my own study show that women are in fact smarter than Lord Pussycat & friends.

Women's brains are actually larger than men's in relation to body size. And the part in men's brains that is larger is the part the directs strength and body functions. The part of the brain that is responsible for intelligence is actually smaller in men's brains and larger in women's brains.

A smart man would not be a Lothario anyway. That kind gives women "presents" they would do better without.

Do you not know that all debate process requires an absolute excisement of the bigger picture. And the bigger picture in this particular debate is that men have far superior brain power, originating from a much larger brain than a woman has. It is a well known fact that men are so much more smarter than women. Under the circumstances, all the back slapping, and words of solidarity clucking from you women merely adds to the sense that you are floating on an amusing cloud of delusion....;-)

Out of experience, I can tell you that this is one hell of a misconception. When I took an AP Biology course in my junior year of high school, there were plenty of boys that applied and bragged about how easy it was going to be to get in. Much to their surprise, they were all told that they weren't Advanced Placement material and that they should apply for Biology 3 instead. The entire Advanced Placement Biology class was female. Now, in my senior year, the Anatomy II Honors class is also all female. Mind you that it takes a lot of brains to get into any AP/Honors courses in my school and they only take the most intelligent kids. It must be pretty humiliating for the boys, knowing that they've been outsmarted by a bunch of women.

Not quite, kind sir. There are cases in which everday human females have been proven to concieve without the aid of a male. The babies that were born of this form of conception were perfectly healthy and now enjoy normal lives. The women who have experienced these miraculous conceptions were examined during their pregnancies and were found to have intact hymens. Doctors could easily trigger this condition in women everwhere and the population would continue on as normal. And by "real men" are you refering to the drunken neandrathals who beat their wives and children for no reason other than the fact that they recognize how far they've fallen? Those aren't "real men". Those men, like you, are cowards; afraid that women may actually be a male's intellectual equal. Real men are the males that respect women as partners and as equals. Moreover, how comical that you compare me to Hitler when Hitler had the same ideals as you. He believed that women were second to men. Also, despite his madness and other isssues, he was quite intelligent. And a male. So in a way you just destroyed your own arguement by saying that I <u>AM</u> the intelectual equal of a male. I've already won this argument, kind sir, as you yourself had to scramble an excuse for your own carelessness. Moreover, why you keep bringing my lungs into this, I have no idea. The old sayings are quite crude wouldn't you say? It was also another old saying that said
"Man has his will but woman has her way." You should be fairly knowledgable about that term and who said it. As for the ball and chain comment, you can thank my champion Alice Paul for granting me the right of complete freedom. And who says I haven't learned how to cook and clean properly just because I happen to have a strong will?
