Alcoholic Beverages Should List Their Ingredients And Calories Just Like Any Other Food Or Beverage
1) It's genuinely useful info. In fact most people would be stunned that a shot of Amaretto has 110 calories. 2) It would help reveal those doctored drinks which you'd probably not buy if only you knew they were artificially flavored or heeped with sugar or blended with cheap grain alcohol. 3) If you require ingredient sourcing info it even helps with wines because many listed as one varietal are only a percentage of that varietal and the rest is filler from all over the place. Anyway why are soft drinks better documented than alcohols?

Normally, people dont really read those labels. And if that is added, the price of those beverages would increase by a little because of the requirement of more ink to print the labels. And sometimes, a few cents are worth a lot to some people.
