It should all be banned! Then you collect it all up and send it to me. I will keep it safe so that
it will not tempt the rest of you towards sin. |

Idiots create 90% of corruption. |

90% I don't think so, yes alcohol can be a dangerous stimulant when it comes to crimes but it
doesn't mean it causes 90% of it! |

Although I'd agree alcohol has harmed society in many ways it is NOT 90% of corruption. Muslim
terrorists do NOT drink alcohol at all. Enron did NOT fall because of Coors beer. Adolf Hitler was
NOT an absynthe addict. On the other hand, alcohol IS used ceremonial by clergy. It IS beneficial
to health in moderation (red wine). It IS healthier than the questionable water supplies in some
parts of the world. |

I'll say 91% based on no research at all! |

Yes
Alcohol is second only to human ignorance for causing wrong doings.
Alcohol reveals the true person.
If that person says they have a will of iron for example but ends up more drunk than anyone there
then they're obviously lying, whereas if someone else says that, and doesn't touch a drop then
they've probably got more self control than the one passed out on the floor. |

Alcohol isn't the problem, PEOPLE are.
Alcohol is an easy target and an unfair scapegoat for people who either are unwilling or unable to
step up and deal with their own issues. It's far easier for them to blame it on something vague like
alcohol consumption and rather than take responsibility and accountability for their own
situation.
Remember, alcohol just lowers your inhibitions, it does NOT impair your ability to discern the
difference between wrong and right. Even if you are highly intoxicated, we still know if something
is wrong, ill-advised or illegal. The inebriation merely clouds our judgment. It does NOT govern our
moral value system. |
