I'm not a big David Bowie fan but I will say a) his range as an artist is vast (music, fashion, even
acting) and although I'm glad Adam Lambert has a shot at a career the odds he will be as diverse
and impacting as David Bowie is slim, and b) Bowie married the supermodel Iman; I don't see Lambert
pulling off something like that, and c) the fact Lambert's first big TV performance had to resort to
the sex desperation that so many artists use to try to climb back from the brink of their obscurity
doesn't bode well for the long-term of his career. I mean he played that card very early, now all
that's left for shockers is to get arrested for substance abuse, and maybe to take the sex thing as
far as a nudey sex tape leaking out. |

I might be exceptionally biased but I have this thing for Adam Lambert and I will take him over
David Bowie any day. And I've watched American Idol and see Lambert on television and he is cool,
you just gotta love him. |

Finsch, I admire and respect you but David Bowie "cool"? I don't think so. Then again I have been
told more than once I have very strange taste. |
