Adam And Eve Were Not The First Man And Woman
This kills me how so many Christians believe they (Adam and Eve) were the first. Even Jews don't believe that mess and its their story. Its clearly understood metaphorically but the Christians took it and ran away with it. To Jews its the beginning of the Hebrew story not the beginning of man.

It is well documented that the Indians and many authors of antiquity have assuredly written of above 16 thousand years ago, whereas Moses said Adam proved to have lived within six thousand years. I still believe in the Great Creator of the Universe, and that Adam and Eve is allegorically symbolic.

I think that that is true however i believe that Adam and eve were symbolic and that they symbolise that man is from god and that we should respect him by not disobeying his will... Like Adam and eve "did".

Of course they weren't the first, well them or some one like them. I believe to some degree they were the most fruitful at that time in that region maybe. But there's a difference between man and woman versus male and female. Sapeins can be male and female,
Adam and eve can be man and women, hence the earliest if that's the route one wants to take.

Most Jews don't think that anyone before Abraham was real so you're right. It's like all the fanboys who try to tell J.K. Rowling what really happened to Harry Potter. Um... She made it up, she gets to say what's real and what's not.

Humans were around long before religion, let alone monotheism or Abhrahamic religions. In the Bible, Adam and Eve acknowledge God from the start. In reality, early forms of religion were things like animism (the belief that everything has a spirit, but not the belief of supreme powers).

Just because it's printed doesn't mean it's right. There's plenty of stuff on the Internet and in books that's wrong.

If you go on the Internet, most scientific pages will tell you that as far as we can tell the first woman and man evolved from monkey-like creatures (no, not monkeys, just similar), and they didn't just spontaneously appear out of nowhere. Adam and Eve is probably just a metaphorical representation of hundreds of years of human development, right up until the birth of Abrahamic religions.

If the Bible says that Adam and Eve were the first humans, then I'm going to go with that.

However, I believe in evolution, so I don't completely think that they were the first homosapiens. I think that there were humans before them, ones that were less educated and more based on their animal instincts, but Adam and Eve were the first traditional human beings.

Great circular argument buddy..."Because the bible says so." Based on the bible, Adam and eve dates back to about 6,000 years ago if you follow the Hebrew blood line. Compare that to actual data that dates man back as far as 200,000 years ago based on skeleton remains...etc.

Try again. So you are to say, the Jewish people are wrong?
