days women of our newer generations don't care that they are basically murderers. Every person
against this debate should think about this one and only question: What if your mother killed you?
Its not right for a mother to kill an infant or a 5 year old so why is right for her to kill a two

Ok, If some is extreme enough to think that if a woman is raped and should get an abortion
apparently either isn't a woman or unbelievably conservative. And if it is life threatening then it
would kill BOTH of them or just the mother or just the baby. In the case medical issues an abortion
is almost necessary.
In the both cases it should be up to a the person in question to choose to abort them or not. Also
why men(despite being one myself) are aloud to debate about this is completely pointless because men
don't know anything about going through childbirth or the mental problems so why should men decide
for women.
It should be something that is decided by women. If there were a vote on such a thing men shouldn't
be aloud to vote on it. |

I agree that abortion should be allowed for medical reasons and in case of rape but having said that
one thing concerns me. Medicals complications can be traced and abortion in that case would be
without any fuss but what about rape? A woman can always lie about being raped whereas she in fact
got pregnant without intention as a result of something more voluntary than rape.
If a solution to this exists I am for the topic completely. |

I vote for pro-choice. While I think it is a sad decision for a woman to have an abortion for birth
control, I can't say I judge her on that and her decision is wrong. Everyone of us has
circumstances through life that alter our decision making.
I do agree that abortions should stay legal, and yes, especially in the case of rape and mortality.
But I also agree they should stay legal because of a woman's varying circumstances.
If I ever find myself in a situation, such as this, I want to know that I have a 'choice' in the
matter as to what happens to me and my body and whatever is inside my body. God gave, yes people,
God, gave all of us one thing in common when we were born and that was we were all granted with the
God given right of 'choice'. Who's to say that a woman's abortion choice is any worse or better
than your or my choice of anything else we choose in life.
It is time for people to mind their own business and let people live their own lives. The woman and
her abortion have no positive nor negative impact on your daily life- just your view in social
belief- yes, just your belief. |

believe women, in general, should not be forced to carry a pregnancy to term if they don't want to.
There should be some reasonable limits placed on the practice, such as an acceptable maximum length
of the pregnancy after which no abortions can be performed except in exceptional circumstances.
However, the essential freedom of women to cope with the consequences of their own fertility should
remain. |

Many people are uncomfortable with being labelled either pro-choice or pro-life, because they find
themselves somewhere in the middle on this issue.
Women often choose to terminate a pregnancy because they do not feel financially and emotionally
prepared to raise a child. Although I think that abortion should still be legal in most of these
cases, these women should be encouraged to consider other options. I would even make it mandatory to
attend a counseling session, so that they are clear about the choices that they have. Abortion is
certainly not the only option, and it is often preferable to give the child up for adoption instead. |

I am against abortion no matter how the mother conceived!I was raped at the age of 18 and
conceived.I went through the thoughts of it I won't lie about that.I also thought about giving up my
child for adoption.I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was almost four months.I could of had an
abortion even in the 2nd trimester.I couldn't do it because no matter how he was conceived he was a
part of me.I believe we are all here for a reason.My son is now 19 and he is a beautiful soul and he
is on his way to becoming a youth pastor.God used something awful that happened to me and turned it
into a blessing!!! |

Abortion is MURDER! There is no way that ANYONE should get away with murder! Children are beautiful
and are our future! God does things for a reason, God takes people away from this Earth for a
reason. If we legalize Abortion, in any way, shape, or form, then Murderers that kill a woman and
her unborn child on "accident" then they can get up on the stand and say that it is there way of

I agree with the child endangering the mother's life to an extent, but in cases of rape, just
because one person committed a crime doesn't mean the baby should die. It is still a life and it

I completely disagree. I have seen videos of them doing it and its so graphic i don't understand why
people don't get the fact that its a baby, a life. When has it been okay to kill. There are
alternatives for rape victims. There are pills that are accessible that stop it from even reaching
the cell. And if my wife was threatening an abortion i would take it seriously almost as though she
was about to murder a full grown child. There are alternatives its the fact that these victims wait
and the baby is 3 months grown. For people that are not victims of rape. Its almost hard to believe
that the mother would do this. Even if your or underage its your fault you had sex and the baby
shouldn't have to pay. |

Does any law can make any historic footmark in the relationship between mother and her child? I
think every one would pose the same in the matter of abortion. Assassinating a life with the help of
the law which is created by some countable people is not at all the symbol of a true justice. This
is must said to be an organized murder. A murder is never acceptable. And in this case we kill a
life which we don’t know that whether it would be a Shakespeare or a Maradona or a Nelson Mandela
in future. A budding life should not be assassinated in so early with the name of justice or law.
According to me abortion should not be made legal in any case as a life is always precious what
anybody gets after a long prayer I guess. |

I do not agree. It is the most selfish thing to do. Kill someone else just because your life is in
danger if it was a result of a rape. I don't care if you die, babies should not be killed just
because it's the easier way out. If you were raped, put it up for adoption, if your life is in
danger, take the chance. There is still a percentage that you will survive. I know that seems harsh,
but what about the morality of it? |
