A Portion Of All Public Beaches Should Be Set Aside For Clothing-optional Recreation.
More people than are willing to admit it are wanting to shed their wet, poorly fitting, irritating swimwear for the comfort and freedom of nudity when they go to the beach. They want to feel as natural as their surroundings.

That's the case in most of Europe.

Absolutely if people want to be nude they should be allowed to be nude. I also think that the same polocy should apply in all public places

Thanks elfox! I agree with you on the all places too, though just even setting aside some beach space for now would be a monumental step towards the enlightenment of our rather closed-minded, conservative society. I'll work on the beaches if you want to work on the other places :-) Peace

I have nothing against nude beaches, I'm just taking issue with the proposal "all public beaches" should have a section. Most of the beaches I've seen are configured in a way to make dividing a section for that impossible. Many have family houses looking directly over all parts of the beach, or they're too small to be of much good if divided, or it would be guaranteed the non-nudes simply could not help but see the nudes. It just won't work to say all public beaches need a section.

But, carry on all you nudes. In fact I'm nude as I'm writing right now, although I'm at home and not on a beach.

I see your point, my point is not practicality. What I'm getting at is that people that want to go nude should have a place set aside for that. Where I live, I don't know of a free beach for at least 350 miles. I could pay to go to a nearby resort which only has a pool, and pay $45 for the day. The textile world is not accommodating those that prefer nude recreation is all.
