I don't know if its harder. I'm posting on the agreeing side, because yes, they don't REALIZE how
much harder it is, because they don't know if it is or not. Just like they don't know what its like
for us, we don't know what it was like for them, so neither of us has a valid argument. The only
people with a valid argumentative stance in this matter would be your teachers who were student
during your parents student years. Plus, I'm pretty sure drugs were accepted back in their day too.
Depending on how old your parents are, weed was legal, and LSD use wasn't frowned upon by the youth,
because of the music movement and all that stuff. Drugs are apparent in our generation just as it
was in theirs, except all drugs are illegal now, so more kids talk about it like its something
special when they've used, because its illegal, therefore "cool". I smoke weed everyday, I don't
think it makes me cool, or uncool, its just who I am. And it sure didn't make school any harder for
me. In fact, my grades rose after I discovered the Plant |

Yes! I agree because MY parents keep saying stuff like, "In my day, I always did my homework and
never, ever, complained." It just is so annoying! I don't really see the connection with drugs and
alcohol but I like the title statement |
