Not only are a large number of Clinton Voters racist, but I wouldn't be surprised if a large number
of Obama and McCann voters are also ethnocentric. |

Many of Mrs. Clinton's supporters are, indeed, racists, but this is not terribly surprising, nor is
it a new phenomenon. Although polls conducted early in this campaign seemed to indicate that the
vast majority of Americans would be willing to elect a black president, there was plenty of reason
to take these findings with a grain of salt. The most important one was that opinion polls almost
always overestimate support for black candidates. This is why if Obama were to find himself in a
match-up with McCain this autumn, he would probably have to lead by at least five percent in opinion
polls, for him to actually win very narrowly. If polls show that the two are deadlocked, McCain is
almost certain to win.
I do not think that Hillary is consciously pandering to racists, even though I believe that she
probably realizes that many of her rural supporters in Pennsylvania are, indeed, bigoted. Instead,
Clinton has framed all of this by talking about class-based identities, rather than racial ones.
Obama is associated with wine drinking, well-educated savvy urbanites, while Hillary sees herself as
the voice of the gritty, "hard-working" rural and small-town American working class. |

Clinton was a better president than the one we have now. Why does it matter how he came into office.
The reason obama has lost so much support is because his ex preacher made such racial comments of
jesus being a poor black man that was crusified by rich white ppl. When in fact most ppl of Africa
are dark skinned and at no point in the bible does it talk about what race jesus was. It is the
preacher that has lost his votes not bcacuse ppl are racist. I am a supporter of obama by the way. |
