| I don't really know if this is more of a 21st century phenomenon or has been historically a universal error in thinking. But it seems by focusing only on effects, one is never going to get what he wants. For example, acquiring a home, car, or any material good will never be appropriately attained if one does not think about the causes necessary to acquire such things. Or, having good relationships, what are the causes for that. Just wanting something and then expecting it to be granted without going through the proper steps of causation will always fail. |
