12 Years Old Should Be Allowed A Tablet For Abortion
A few days ago in the UK they were voting on whether 12year old should be allowed to go to the hospital and buy some pills for an abortion and can do it without their parents consent. They would then pass the baby out on the toilet.
Personally, i think this is a good idea, being 14 myself, if i got pregnant i wouldn't be keen on going to my mother and telling her. Also, if a girls parents are religious they might force her to keep the baby and hence ruin her life. (finish debate explanation below)
I agree with this because a 12-year old girl does not have the right education to raise a child, her
body isn't probably ready for it, and they have no financial responsibility whatsoever, thus
providing a bad environment for her child and thus raising another one of society's problems.
But please, all you 12-year old girls: That's completely gross and wrong and if you need an abortion
you have issues.
It would be criminal to allow a 12 year old to have a baby, assuming you've already allowed the
criminal act of her getting pregnant in the first place.
I'm thinking that nine times out of ten the only sensible solution to a pregnancy at twelve
years-old is an abortion. Children in an ideal world would not have to worry about bringing these
things to their parents but teenage are not renowned for their filial faith.

Yes, 12 year old shouldn't be having sex, but you can't really stop them and you shouldn't for
abstinence on them. If they are allowed the tablet then they have a better chance in succeeding in
life than if they have it.

I think 12 year old's should get an abortion and go through the trauma of the entire thing. Maybe
that will teach them to get pregnant so early on in their life!! However, if they are 12 and got
raped obviously this is a totally different matter. Then i think they should be helped through the
experience in whatever ways possible. But for your average 12 year old that sleeps around and gets
pregnant....no they should go through the trauma and learn their lesson. Otherwise you are giving
them the message: It's alright, if you get pregnant now, we'll help you through it the easiest way
possible. That would be encouraging them!!
Abortions can cause so many terrible things to happen to the mother... Like infertility and PAS
(Post-abortion-syndrome) a 12 year old is not capable of making an educated decision. A parent needs
to help. BTW, I'm pro-choice for adults.
do you really believe that a controlled abortion would be more physically harmful to a 12-year-old than 9 months of pregnancy followed by giving birth?
i heard about a 17-year-old who got knocked up and had to stay in bed for several months because her spine couldn't support the extra weight.
Although I am Pro Choice I do think we need an age cut-off. I'm sorry but I just don't see 12 year
old being mature enough to make that call (some might be but many would not). I'd vote for the
parents to be involved.
